1986 EP

Vincent Belorgey, or better known by his pseudonym Kavinsky is a French electro artist, and has released two EPs on the Record Makers label: Teddy Boy in 2006 and 1986 (named after his car accident) in 2007. In 2007 he toured Oz with the one and only Daft Punk during their Nevereverland dates.

Smoking Kills (?) EP

SebastiAn (born Sebastian Akchoté) is a French electro artist who came about stardom by releasing his first EP on Ed Banger Records in 2005 entitled 'Smoking Kills (?)'. Now not only has the artist produced such a small line of core-work, he has also ventured into the remix scene, collaborating with artists such as Daft Punk, Mylo ,Sébastien Tellier, Kavinsky and even Melbourne's own Cut Copy

Waters Of Nazareth EP

Another EP brought to your straight from the love of the French! Waters Of Nazareth was Justice's first official single. t was released twice, once as a 12" single with the original three songs, and once on CD and 12" with remixes by DJ Funk, Erol Alkan, and Justice featuring Feadz. Originally released with only the 6 songs (including remixes and promos), Warner Music Japan released a version of which contained a 7th bonus retro styled track. Enjoy!

DVNO EP

DVNO is a single based upon the 9th song from their album †. According Xavier de Rosnay (a.ka. 'the china'), "DVNO" stands for "Divino." The vocalist featured in the song is Mehdi Pinson from the band Scenario Rock.

The recent Todd Edwards mix sparked civil unrest within the house community, having known that Edwards himself had not yet officially released his rare mix of Daft Punk's 'Face to Face', even though he had shown full love to Justice with his superb mix. Full credit to him for this brilliant 909 styled mix though.

We Are Your Friends / Never Be Alone EP

Justice first came to prominence through their 2003 remix of Simian's track "Never Be Alone" which was created for a Paris college radio station's remix contest. The remix resulted in the group being signed to Ed Banger (who released it) and became a hit in clubs and on the internet. The song was re-released in 2004 on DJ Hell's International DeeJay Gigolo Records was and eventually given a commercial release within the UK during the summer of 2006, under the title "We Are Your Friends," on Ten Records, a sub-label of Virgin Records.

Overture.....

Hello all you daft lovers out there! Just a little intro to get the blogs and posts rollin' (and scracthin'). First of all just to clarify, the posts will contain rare daft punk productions as well as many remixes, but first i'll post the basics to give people a taste of what the French scene is like. Not only will I make daft punk be existent, but also many others such as Justice, SebastiAn, Kavinsky, the ed banger crew as well as Thomas' and Guy-Man's own side projects (Roule + Crydamoure) as well as many many others surrounded by the same genre. Hope you all enjoy my site and soon come to learn of the true sounds of the French touch!
